Questions
Questions people ask
If yours is not here, ask us - the people who built it are the ones who answer.
Do I need to know accounting?
No. You raise bills and record what you receive; the double entry happens underneath. Your CA gets proper books at the end of it.
Do I need a computer?
A phone browser is enough to bill and to see what is owed. A counter that scans and prints wants a computer or a tablet.
What if the internet goes down?
The counter keeps billing on the device and sends everything through when the line is back. The back office needs a connection.
Who can see my figures?
You, and the people you give logins to. Support can only come in with a reason, and that reason is written down before they get in.
Can I get my data out?
Yes - Excel for anything on screen, and a Tally export for the whole year. Before you leave, and after.
Will my CA be happy with it?
Trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and a day book that tie to the paisa - plus a Tally export if they want it their way.
Can I bring my old data in?
Customers, suppliers, items and opening balances come in from Excel. Every row is checked and you are told what needs fixing before anything is saved.
What happens after the trial?
You pick a plan and pay for the year. If you do not, nothing is deleted - the books stay readable, you simply cannot write new bills.
